Located in the north eastern region of Kritou Terra, Kremmioti River is another attraction in the Pafos Region renowned for its unique landscape, idyllic scenery and astounding flora and fauna.

The first casino in Cyprus operated in our village, Kritou Terra. It was housed in a building which had been constructed between the years 1860 and 1870, and which is located east of the school.

Terra Cypria–the Cyprus Conservation Foundation is a non-governmental organisation (NGO), officially established in 1992 as a charitable, non-profit organisation.

The Tower of Rigena in Akama is located at the top of the homonymous peninsula, Moutti tis Sotiras, and after the excursion area of the site “Smigies” in the province of Paphos. The Nature Trail of Adonis also crosses the area.

The littoral place of the village contributed to the development of fishery. In the offshore area next to the Akron Pomos, there is a fishery shelter which in 1984 took in four fish boats that kept busy seven residents of the area. With state expenses since 1983 the port of the area developed significantly.
